Our first step will be to meet and plan our shoot. I prefer to meet in person in a coffeehouse. If that's not practical, we can use FaceTime, Zoom, or a telephone call.
We will discuss
Our backgrounds and goals
Choose a Time: midday, golden hour, nighttime? Book with Calendly.
Choose a Location: Depends on the time. Someplace you would like.
Chose a Use: IG, FB, MM, website, portfolio, prints? It guides the aspect ratio for framing.
Bring an Assistant: It helps a lot. The lighting will be better.
Mandatory Confirmation: Confirm by email or text message the day before the shoot or the shoot is canceled.
Meeting Point: I'll find a place. I'm the 80 year old guy with camera stuff.
Wardrobe: Suggestions for wardrobe, jewelry, makeup, and props.
Weather Considerations: Too cloudy, cold, or windy and we may reschedule.
Model Release: I use one so we can both publish.
Keep Communicating: Do you prefer email or text?
COVID-19 Contact Tracing
Before our meeting you must be fully vaccinated and you must complete Jeff's Contact Form.
Also, please follow the directions in the From and send me a smartphone picture of you CDC Vaccination Record Card. Or, instead, bring the card with you to our meeting.
Driver's License
Also, before our shoot, please email me a smartphone picture of your driver's license so I can add it to the model release form we will sign when we meet just before the shoot. Or, instead, I can take a smartphone picture at the shoot before we sign the release. This take more time and is error prone.
